Nickeus Park Inclusive Playground

The Nickeus Park Inclusive Playground project reimagines the park as an inclusive and accessible destination for all ages and abilities. At the heart of the design is a new inclusive playground, thoughtfully paired with an adjacent restroom facility and convenient parking to support everyday use and comfort for all. The site layout allows key amenities to be easily reached while fostering a welcoming, community-oriented
environment.

Circulation throughout the park was carefully restructured to prioritize safety and user experience. The new configuration separates bike and pedestrian movement from vehicular traffic, creating clearer, safer pathways and enhancing accessibility. Together, these improvements promote overall health, inclusion, and ease of access – positioning the park as a model for equitable and user-friendly public space design.
